Mail Co-Mingling

Postage is based on many factors. This includes the size and shape of the mail piece, the weight, the class, the density within a zip code, the distance it travels and the business type (profit or non profit) of the owner of the mail.

BlueGrass Mailing combines numerous companies and organizations' pre-addressed mail into one mailing to raise the density of grouped mail within a geographical area. It is then delivered closer to its delivery destination. This saves costs for you and speeds up the delivery.

Processing of mail through our optical character reader allows the mail to be read and analyzed. The address is read and the ZIP + 4 barcode is applied. If the addressee has moved, the new forwarding address is sprayed. The mail is then sorted to select geographical area post offices to be put in trays and combined for processing to the closest delivery point.

Mail co-mingling helps save our customers postage and speeds up the transportation and delivery of that mail.
