In order to provide our
customers with a quick method of transferring large files, we have established
the following FTP site for your convenience. You may connect via the following
3 methods. If you require stricter
security for file transfer, please contact use to utilize our Secure FTP (SFTP)
site.
Connect via the web at:
http://www.bgmailing.com/general/files/
From there you will log
in, either anonymously (by entering your e-mail address as your password), or
by entering the username and password we assigned you (check with your sales
rep. if you would like to get a username and not log in anonymously).
The Java applet may request security permission, please say
yes.
Once you are logged in,
on the left side you will see your local drive, you may browse to where your
file that you want to upload is stored. Click on the file, then click on the
right arrow.
If it was transferred you
will now see the file in the right pane.
(Using anonymous access, no one else will be able to see your
file.)
Using your own FTP client:
Server address: ftp.bgmailing.com
Enter your email address
as your password for anonymous access or the user name and password we have
provided you.
Using Internet Explorer/Windows Explorer:
If you would prefer, you
may also connect to the anonymous FTP site by entering this address in your
address bar (you may then drag and drop the file):
(NOTE: Internet Explorer 7 will not upload properly, you can follow their directions that appear or open the site directly in Windows Explorer, which is our recommended course for IE7 and below.)
After transfer:
Regardless of which
method you choose, after successfully transmitting your file, please contact
your sales rep and inform them that you FTP'ed the file, a folder name (if
applicable), file name, and record count.
